8 months ago, after completing an MBSR course (massive thanks and praise for my teacher – for always ‘being there’ for me) I have been lead to the discovery of my own brave ‘new’ world of meditation practice, tinted with reassuring creative and spiritual reconnections. I am learning that thoughts are just thoughts, it’s ok to allow emotions rise, fall and fade away, awareness of suffering leads to peace and pain can be turned into compassion.
Which is just as well because the current changes in my life are in danger of creating a perfect storm and mindfulness meditation practice is the mountain I hold onto.
Acceptance of the past, awareness of the present moment and letting go of the unfolding future is all and everything that is locked away in my mind. Mindfulness is the key to being.
